Pharmacogenomic (PGx) Testing
Unlock the Power of Personalized Medicine with Genetic PGx Testing
Did you know your genes affect how medications work in your body? It’s estimated that 99% of individuals have at least one genetic variant that changes how a medication will work for them.
Given that the 4th leading cause of death in the United States is adverse drug reactions, PGx testing should be much more accessible to the public.
Pioneer Pharmacy wants to help usher in the future of personalized medicine. Trial and error prescribing should become a relic of the past. Get tested so you, your doctor, and your pharmacist will know what medications may not work well for you, what may be dangerous for you to take, and the appropriate dose of medications for you.

What is the Cost of the Test?
The PGx test we use is a comprehensive panel that identifies 38 Alleles affecting over 150 medications. Conditions treated with drugs affected include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression and other mental health diseases, cancer, chronic and acute pain, gastrointestinal disease, addiction and more.
The cost of the test is very affordable considering this is not a limited test like most medical professionals offer. It will guide you and your doctors to the best treatments for you now and in the future. This test could even save your life for only $399.00.
We do not bill insurance for this test since it is so affordable for the value you receive. We have found that co-pays may cost more than the cash price. No need to be hassled by coverage denials and inflated costs caused by billing insurance.
What is the Cost of NOT Getting Tested?
- Being a guinea pig when trying new medications .
- Suffering unnecessary adverse drug reactions.
- Taking medications for the rest of your life that will not work for you.
- Receiving treatment that is ineffective for you for conditions as serious as cancer.
- Taking the wrong dose of medications that could have been dosed appropriately.
- Suffering an adverse event that could result in long-term disability and even death.
